LEVEL 8 DEBUT
NANGA HIGH-END MODEL SERIES
NANGA HIGH-END MODEL SERIES
We’ve circled back to our roots to reassess the sleeping bags from various angles , with a focus on the keyword––insulation. By doing so, we were able to discover the ultimate design.
Why are NANGA products so warm? Seeking simple answers would be quick and easy because we have been building on our technology and innovation for over 25 years while continuing to manufacture our products with diligence. On the other hand, we also wanted to challenge ourselves to seek the more difficult answers, so we established our own research institute, NML. As a result of reanalyzing our past technologies, we were able to create the top-of-the-line LEVEL 8 series.
The zipper of the standard model is located at the side of the sleeping bag, but for the LEVEL 8 products, the zipper has been innovated to be placed closer to the chest to reduce the infiltration of cold air from the ground.
In addition to the shoulder warmer and waist tube, double draft tubes are installed behind the zippers for improved heat retention.
Vertical baffles on the backside of the sleeping bag help to prevent down from shifting and bunching when you roll over in your sleep.
The foot box is larger than that of the regular model and contains more down. This protects your feet from getting cold.
Features AURORA LIGHT, a lightweight, waterproof, and breathable material. The structure of the sleeping bag itself has also been developed and designed through research. The LEVEL8 series will be released for the first time this season, and this is its waterproof and lightweight model compatible for -23℃ temperatures.
We have quantified the technologies we have accumulated and succeeded in digitizing the effects of materials on sleep quality. We were able to validate subjectivity with objectivity. We also discovered the true value of UDDDX, a super water-repellent processed down. The LEVEL8 series was created with much attention to detail and will be released for the first time this season. This is its lightweight model compatible for -20℃ temperatures.
For the past 25 years, NANGA has been accumulating a wealth of technical expertise––the mastery of knowing how to combine the structures and down qualities in addition to determining the amount of down to be used in order to make a good product. However, these are only subjective concepts based on experience. We believe that it was essential to collect data based on theory if we wanted to become a global, comprehensive outdoor brand in the future. That is why we established the research institute, NANGA MOUNTAIN LABORATORY. We analyze our own products using the most advanced technology currently available and quantify the insulation effects as well as comfort levels. We then devise severe application conditions to develop new products and pursue our high-level research and development of materials, structures, quality, and quantity.
